BIOS flashing is most often needed if the computer has lost its performance. However, it is not uncommon for boards to become damp and need to be updated. In any case, you need to know how to flash the BIOS.
Instructions
Step 1
Create a system floppy disk (even this will be enough) or disk. Your best bet is to use the free BootDisk utility. Download it on the official website, unzip it into a previously created folder, run the executable file and click on the "Create" button.
Step 2
Next, you need to add a BIOS image to the disk or floppy disk (you can download it from the manufacturer's official website). You will also need a flasher program. It is different for each computer model, so you need to consult the service department. The most versatile flasher is Q-Flash.
Step 3
Insert the disk or floppy disk into your computer, press the power button, start the freer and select the BIOS image file. Press the Enter key and wait for the computer to complete all processes on its own. After the BIOS is flashed, the equipment will reboot and your operating system will work again.
Step 4
In some cases, the BIOS will contain a built-in feature to enable updates. You just need to find the Update item in the working window. Then you just need to activate this key and wait a while. It should be noted that this scheme only works on the latest BIOS versions.
