A PDA is a very convenient and multifunctional device. Modern PDAs allow you to open almost any file that was created on your computer using various programs. In order to upload a text file or a picture to the PDA, you just need to connect it to the computer. By connecting the PDA to the computer, you can transfer music, video, text to its memory, and synchronize contacts.
Necessary
Computer, PDA, USB cable, Bluetooth
Instructions
Step 1
Decide how you will connect the PDA to the computer. This can be done either via a USB cable or via Bluetooth. The cable for connecting to the USB port must be included in the package bundle with your PDA. If you have a chickpea cord available, you can always purchase it separately. Please note that different PDA models have different ports for connecting the USB cable. So if you are going to purchase a USB cable separately, it is better to take your PDA with you. So you will definitely buy the USB cable that will fit your PDA.
Step 2
Turn on your computer. Now that you have a USB cable, plug it into your PDA and then simply plug it into any available USB port on your computer. After connecting the PDA to the computer, the device detection program will start. Wait a couple of minutes until it installs the drivers for your PDA. After that, a window will appear with a notification that the device is installed and ready for use. Now you have access to the memory of your PDA and you can write information there.
Step 3
If you have software for your Pocket PC, install it. It will significantly expand the possibilities of exchanging information between a computer and a PDA. If you do not have software, you can always download it from the official website of your PDA manufacturer.
Step 4
The second connection method is a Bluetooth device. Turn on Bluetooth on your Pocket PC and connect it to your computer. From the Bluetooth software menu, select Search for Devices. Upon completion of the search, select your PDA from the list, and then the "Establish connection" command. The connection is now established.
Step 5
You don't have to search for devices every time. After you have established a connection, your Pocket PC will be in the list of paired devices. To connect next time, just select it from the list and click "Connect".
