Owners of pocket personal computers (PDAs) have long been convinced of the convenience of using their mobile devices. Often for more convenient work, data synchronization and information copying, it is required to connect the PDA to a desktop computer. The connection is carried out in almost the same scenario as in the case of a regular phone, with the exception of some advanced program settings.

- - software according to the model of your mobile device.
Instructions
Step 1
Install the software for your Pocket PC on your computer. You can take it from the disc that comes with your mobile device. There is also a download option from the manufacturer's official website.
Step 2
Choose the type of connection that is convenient for you - USB cable, wireless bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection. It is best to use a wired connection, it is much faster and easier to set up.
Step 3
Select the "Connection settings" menu item in your Pocket PC. Specify the preferred mode that will automatically start when the device is connected to the computer. You can also select the "Always ask" option.
Step 4
Perform the initial setup in the phone software settings, for this you will have to connect your mobile device to your computer and specify the required configuration in the program.
Step 5
If you have a bluetooth adapter, then in the wireless settings, select the desired configuration of the menu items that are responsible for automatically connecting the device when it is found, pair the equipment.
Step 6
If you have Wi-Fi connectivity, make sure the software supports this kind of connection between your phone and computer. If not, download an additional application, of course, if you are going to use a Wi-Fi connection in the future. In the PDA settings, specify the network name and password, set the default connection.
Step 7
Alternatively, connect your PDA to your computer without installing additional software. In this case, the memory card of the mobile device will be available to you. You can also use some PDA models as a USB modem by selecting the appropriate mode in the phone. In this case, the software will be installed directly from the PDA memory and will automatically start when connected in the specified mode.
