When loading any operating system of the Windows line, a welcome screen appears. By default, the screen should be displayed anyway, but in some cases, such as when the system crashes or the system settings are changed, this screen may not be displayed, indicating an error.
Instructions
Step 1
Occasionally, you will see this warning when booting the system: "The NetWare Client Service has disabled the welcome screen and quickly switched between users." To edit the display of the welcome screen, you must log in as an administrator or a user who has the same rights. The option "Turn on and off the welcome screen" becomes unavailable for ordinary users.
Step 2
Open the "User Accounts" applet: left-click on the "Start" menu, select "Control Panel". In the window that opens, double-click on the "User Accounts" icon.
Step 3
In the new window, click the Change Login and Logout Method link. Next, you need to select an action that will lead to the desired result - to enable the welcome screen, check the box next to "Use the welcome screen". After activating this item, any user must click the icon with the name of his account before entering the system. Sometimes a password is required if the user activates this option (password login).
Step 4
To log in without a welcome screen i.e. automatically, you must uncheck the "Use the welcome screen" checkbox. When this option is activated, the standard welcome screen will not be displayed, but a window will appear in front of the user in which it is necessary to select a user (account) and enter a password, if this option has been activated. If only one user is using this operating system, neither the welcome screen nor the user selection window will appear.
Step 5
During normal boot of the system, only regular users and users with administrator rights are displayed in the welcome window. When booting in safe mode, the administrator directly appears among the list of users.
