The HD platform is a Russian project for broadcasting a package of various channels in high quality television format. The project is based on the idea of developing high definition television (HDTV).

Instructions
Step 1
Make sure that your satellite equipment meets the following requirements for HD Platform reception: the antenna must be installed at a distance of 90 centimeters or higher. Recommended receiver models for receiving this package: Humax HDCI-2000, as well as General Satellite HD-9300. You will also need a universal linear polarization converter, a receiver and a smart card to connect to the HD Platform.
Step 2
Press the "Menu" button on the receiver's remote control, use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to select the "Installation" option. Then press "Right", go to the item "Search for channels", then select the option "Transponder". Use the Up and Down buttons to select manual tuning mode and add three transponders according to the following steps.
Step 3
Tune the receiver to the "HD Platform" package. To do this, add transponder settings 84 and 80 in the receiver. To enable the 84th transponder, set the following parameters: frequency - 12380 MHz, select vertical polarization. The transmission standard is DVB-S2. Set Modulation to 8PSK / Pilot ON. Select symbol rate value - 26400. FEC parameter - 2/3.
Step 4
Set up the broadcasting of the HD-Platform on the 80m transponder. To do this, set its frequency - 12303 MHz, select vertical polarization. Set the value of the parameter "Transmission standard" - DVB-S2. In the Modulation option select 8PSK / Pilot ON. Set the symbol rate to 26400. Then select the value of the FEC parameter - 2/3.
Step 5
Also set up transponder No. 75 for broadcasting the DV platform, for this add its parameters in the receiver settings. Set the frequency to 12207 MHz, choose horizontal polarization. Select the data transmission standard - DVB-S2. Set the Modulation parameter to 8PSK / Pilot ON. Then set the symbol rate to 27500 and the FEC to 2/3. After setting up all transponders, search for the channels on each of them.
