Players are a convenient tool not only for listening to music, but also for watching videos. This is a great opportunity to while away the time on the road or watch your favorite movie while away from home. However, the process of recording video to the player has its own peculiarities.
Instructions
Step 1
Connect the player to your computer using the USB connection cable. It is usually supplied with the device. To do this, connect one end of the cord to the input connector of the player, insert the other end into the USB connector of the computer system unit. Wait while the operating system detects that a new removable device is connected to the computer. You will hear a distinctive sound and see the autorun window.
Step 2
Using Explorer, open the folder containing the prepared video for recording. Right-click on the desired file and select "Copy". Also, this operation can be replaced by pressing the hot key combination - Ctrl + C.
Step 3
In another window, using the explorer, open the directory of the connected player. Find the folder with the video, right-click and select "Paste". Also, this operation can be replaced by pressing the hot key combination - Ctrl + V. Wait until the video is completely overwritten.
Step 4
Apart from the standard explorer, you can use one of the third party file managers. To do this, start the appropriate manager program. In the left pane, open the prepared video directory, and in the right pane, open the player directory. Highlight the files required for recording to the player and press the corresponding button in the program interface to copy them. Wait for the process to finish.
Step 5
Some players do not support all video formats. As a rule, a CD with a program for converting video into the appropriate format is supplied with such devices. Install this application and run.
Step 6
In the program interface, specify the files you want to convert. Select a location to save them and click the convert button. Wait for the process to finish. After that, using the explorer or file manager, write the files converted to the required format to the player.
