A common problem for Internet users is to remove links from the browser to those sites that they would like to hide from visiting. In fact, this is a very simple operation for all browsers; it does not require any special skills or installation of additional software from the user.

Step 1
If you are interested in removing links from the Opera browser, then launch the browser window and select the "Tools" menu on the top bar. Next, select "Settings" and then "Advanced". On the left, a window will appear with a list of files that can be deleted, select among them those that belong to the "Addresses" category. On the contrary, click the "Clear" button. In this case, the system may "freeze" for a few seconds, executing the command.
Step 2
If you have the Mozilla browser installed and you need to remove information about visiting sites from it, just click on the down arrow at the end of the address bar in the open browser. Start typing the first letters of the resource you want to remove from the list of previously visited. When you see the name of the site you want, place the pointer on its position and press the Shift + Del key combination.
Step 3
If you need to remove information about previously visited sites from Internet Explorer from the address bar, open it and select the "Service" item at the top and then click on the "Properties" item. Select the "Content" tab, then in "Autocomplete" just clear the visit forms and saved passwords.
Step 4
If you want to remove information related to your visit to any sites from the Google Chrome browser, launch the browser and on the toolbar click on the icon with the image of a wrench. Select the Tools menu. In it, select the action "Delete / Clear browsing data". Next, a dialog box will open.
Step 5
Check the boxes in it for the items that you would like to delete. Using the menu at the top, select the data to be deleted from the very beginning, and then perform the action by pressing the corresponding button. This will delete the following items: history of page visits, cached files, pictures, all IP addresses of the pages visited.
