Instructions
Step 1
Open the program and select the Advanced Recovery option in the main window. A window will open with a list of logical partitions on your hard drives. Select the desired section and click "Next", and then wait until the end of reading the information.
Step 2
Scanning may take a long time, depending on the size and fullness of your hard disk. When the program finishes scanning, the window will display the structure of the file system in the form of a tree of files and folders.
Step 3
Using the "Filter" and "Search" sections, you can find all files related to the lost format in order to find the desired one among them - for example, if you need to recover lost data in Microsoft Word, set the search for Office documents as a filter.
Step 4
Find the required file for the recovered files in a separate folder that does not coincide with the partition from which the recovery was performed.
Step 5
It is advisable to save the recovered folders and files to another hard disk or to another logical partition - otherwise, you can overwrite the files, and the information you need from the file will be completely lost.
