Updating the drivers should make the device more stable for the robot. But sometimes it happens that after installing a new driver, you may notice that it began to work incorrectly or does not work at all. Instructions

Step 1

Click Start. Select All Programs, then Accessories. Among the standard programs is the "Command Line". Start it up. In the Command Prompt window, type Mmc devmgmt.msc and press Enter. After a second, the "Device Manager" will open. It will list all the devices connected to your computer. In this list, find the device for which you want to cancel the installation of the driver.

Step 2

Click on the device with the right mouse button. In the context menu that appears, select Properties. After that go to the "Driver" tab and select "Roll Back". The last installed driver will be removed. Close all open windows. Reboot your computer. After rebooting, the device will work under the old driver version.

Step 3

You can also cancel the driver installation by restoring the system to an earlier state. To do this, click "Start". Go to the "Control Panel" and find the component "System Restore" there. Run this option. Select a restore point: the date when the new driver was not yet installed on the device. Once selected, start the recovery process. A bar will appear on the screen to show its progress. You cannot perform any other actions during the recovery process on your computer.

Step 4

When the bar is at the end of the screen, the restoration is complete. The computer should restart. If the reboot does not happen automatically, do it using the button on the case. The operating system will boot. An inscription should appear on the screen stating that the state of the system has been restored. Check the operation of the device. It should run under the old driver. If System Restore affected the required settings, you can undo it at any time.
