Step 1
Unfortunately, operating system developers cannot include drivers for all popular peripherals. In such cases, it is necessary to independently find and install software that is suitable for a specific equipment model. First, try visiting the official website of the company that makes the printer you are using.
Step 2
Enter your printing device model in the search field. Press the Enter key. Wait until a list of applications is created that works with the printer of this model. Download the program that is compatible with the installed operating system.
Step 3
Connect the printer to your computer and turn on the printing device. Wait a while for the automatic hardware initialization procedure to complete. Install the application downloaded from the site following the step-by-step menu prompts.
Step 4
Restart your computer to check if the software is working correctly. Use the installation disc that is usually provided with your printer. Insert this CD into your drive. Wait for the Autorun program to start.

Select "Install Software". Select all available applications and click the Install button. Restart your computer and check if the printer can be used.

If all drivers are installed correctly, but the printer is still unavailable, add it to the list of peripherals. Open the Devices and Printers category, which is linked from the Start menu.
