In our modern digital age, it is impossible to do without rips. The most common rips we see when watching or downloading movies (CAMRip, TV-Rip, BDRip, DVD-Rip). All of these rips are of a quality. And before you download a video to your computer, you need to figure out the quality, so that later you will not be disappointed in the quality of video or sound.
Instructions
Step 1
Remux:
The highest quality rip to date. It is material from original HD DVD and Blu-ray discs without any re-encoding. Often with cut extras, audio tracks and subtitles.
Step 2
BDRip:
Rip made from Blu-ray disc. The highest quality rip in relation to the size of the video file. The quality is much better than DVD-Rip.
Step 3
HDDVDRip:
Rip made from HDDVD disc, which is not inferior in quality to Blu-ray disc. Although recently there have been multilayer Blu-ray discs - 4s which can hold up to 100 GB. When HDDVD only holds 15 GB
Step 4
DVDRip:
Rip from the original DVD. Video and sound quality is good, but inferior to BDRip
Step 5
HDTV-Rip:
It is a recorded broadcast from an HD channel, with the channel's logo and sometimes advertising banners.
Step 6
TV-Rip:
Material recorded from a cable TV channel. It is inferior to HDTV-Rip only in video resolution.
Step 7
CAMRip:
Poor quality rip. The video was recorded from the cinema screen (screen). The video may be shot at an angle, silhouettes and voices of people may be present. Sound volume often drops. Rips of this quality appear after the movie is released in theaters and remain relevant until the release of Blu-ray discs and DVDs.
