Old icons get bored pretty quickly, besides, standard icons are quite the same type and boring, and sometimes you really want variety. New icons will refresh the look of your PC desktop. Spend a little time surfing the Internet and you will find cool and cute icons for your taste. All that remains is to add them to your desktop. Here's how to do it.
Necessary
In order to add new icons and replace the old icons of the main buttons "My Computer", "My Documents", "Full Trash", "Empty Trash" and "Network Neighborhood", you will need a set of new creative icons
Instructions
Step 1
In a convenient location, such as on the D drive, create a dedicated folder for new icons, such as My Creative Icons.
Step 2
Download the new icons you like and save them to a new folder.
Step 3
On the desktop, right-click, this can be done anywhere.
Step 4
In the window that appears, click on the "Properties" menu.
Step 5
In the new window, click on the "Desktop" tab and then on the "Customize Desktop" button.
Step 6
In the new window, you will see the icons. Select the icon you want to replace and click on the "Change Icon" option.
Step 7
In the window that opens, click on the "Browse" option, and select a new icon in the "My creative icons" folder. The icon has been changed and added to the desktop.
