Noise is the main problem faced by powerful computer users. The cooler makes the most noise. But it is not the only component that determines the quiet operation of the power supply.

- - nippers;
- - new power supply unit;
- - coolers;
- - synthetic lubricants.
Instructions
Step 1
Replace the old power supply with a new one.
Step 2
Open the power supply.
Step 3
Remove the cooler and unsolder the power wires either going to the printed circuit board or from the thermal sensor located on the heatsink.
Step 4
Purchase a new cooler and replace the old fan.
Step 5
Do some maintenance work with the old cooler removed. For example, clean dust contamination and lubricate it.
Step 6
Solder a resistor to the power supply lead of the power supply.
Step 7
Cover the inside of the power supply case with noise-absorbing materials. Purchase two 80mm coolers.
Step 8
In those places where these fans will be installed, using nippers to "bite" the iron protective devices: this is necessary for proper air circulation.
Step 9
Insert two coolers: one for blowing in air and the other for blowing it out.
