There is nothing difficult in connecting an Android or Windows smartphone to a computer or laptop, but it is not such an elementary problem as you might think at first glance.
Why do I need to connect my smartphone to a PC? Of course, this is not necessary, but in this way the easiest way is to transfer photos, books, other content from computer to smartphone and vice versa.
When buying most models of smartphones, a special cable is included with the gadget, on one side of which there is a mini USB connector, on the other - a regular USB. Using such a cable, it is very easy to connect a smartphone to a computer.
Helpful hint: if your smartphone did not come with such a cable, purchase it separately, it will still come in handy.
After connecting the cable to the computer and smartphone, wait a moment for the PC to recognize the device connected to it.
The smartphone also detects that it is connected to the PC. To verify this, pull down the panel with a top-down movement and you will see a notification that the USB connection is established. The smartphone can be switched to USB storage mode for transferring data to and from it.
It must be said that it is not necessary to use a USB cable to connect a smartphone to a computer or laptop. It is possible to establish a connection via Bluetoth or WiFi, but for this it is necessary, firstly, that both devices have appropriate wireless adapters (they are usually present on a smartphone, built-in), and secondly, specific software must be installed.
The selection and configuration of the appropriate software in this case is a process that requires an objective assessment of the tasks that will be solved using such a connection, as well as some knowledge in the field of system administration, therefore I do not recommend using this type of connection for the banal transfer of user files between the aforementioned devices (if of course, your phone did not come with software that supported this method of data transfer).
