A USB flash drive is a removable medium, a place for recording, storing, playing back and editing information. Flash cards vary in storage capacity, design, and other characteristics. Any drive connects to a computer or laptop via a USB port.
Instructions
Step 1
A flash drive consists of two parts: a carrier in a body and a cap. Remove the cap to connect the drive.
Step 2
In front of you is a USB connector. Find the entrance for it on the back or front surface of the computer system unit or on the side of the laptop. These USB inputs, or ports, are marked with a special symbol.
Step 3
Align the connectors. Open the My Computer folder. After the list of hard drives installed on the computer, there will be a list of removable media, including a USB flash drive. The drive will be called Flash Drive, Kingstone, USB Drive or similar. In the "Properties" menu, you can change the name to a convenient one.
Step 4
The flash drive is already connected. To open the drive, double-click on it with the left mouse button.
