When using a computer, it is partially worn out, this is no longer a secret for many. There comes a moment when the familiar sound of the system unit fans begins to grow, turning into a slight hum. This suggests that it is necessary to clean the cooler, because the layers of dust add a lot of stress as it unwinds. Actually, this hum comes from the increased load on the cooler.

Step 1
Since ancient times, there have been 2 fans in the bowels of the system unit: in the power supply and on the processor. Then they began to supplement the standard equipment with a fan for hard drives. More recently, video cards have also been equipped with fans. First, we need to disassemble the system unit: turn the unit towards you with the back side and use the “+” screwdriver to unscrew the 2 screws. Press down on the side cover and slide it forward.
Step 2
Now we need to find out which of the coolers gives a characteristic sound, i.e. clogged as much as possible. To do this, turn on the computer and with the lid of the system unit open, listen to the hum of the fans. After determining the desired element of the system, turn off the computer and disconnect it from power. Most often, the motors of video cards are susceptible to quick clogging. Consider an example of cleaning a fan on a video card.
Step 3
Disconnect the graphics card from the motherboard. As a rule, the video card is located closest to the rest of the processor and is attached to an additional latch. Gently release the video card and assess the degree of clogging. Most likely, what you will see can be described by the words: "no man's foot has set foot here."
Step 4
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove coarse dust. Do this without removing the cooler from the graphics card. As soon as your cooler starts spinning, it's done.
Step 5
Now you need to disconnect the cooler from the video card. To do this, use a watch screwdriver or a sharp kitchen knife. Loosen the 4 small screws located in the corners of the fan. Disconnect the fan power cable.
Step 6
After removing the cooler, perform the vacuum cleaning operation again. Use a cotton swab to clean the fan blades. Also wipe all video card contacts with this swab.
Step 7
The final step in cleaning your graphics card cooler is to lubricate the motor. There is a round sticker on the fan; the insides are always hidden under it: the fan axis and the bearing. Put a drop of machine oil and stick the gummed paper circle back. The assembly of everything that has been disassembled is carried out in the reverse order. Also take a moment and vacuum all the parts of your computer.
