Over time, the registry becomes "cluttered", the operating system's speed decreases, errors and malfunctions appear. Of course, you can resort to "radical methods" and reinstall the operating system. The registry will be cleaned up completely, but this method is laborious and sometimes difficult to resort to.

Step 1
To activate the Windows Registry Edit Menu, press the Win + R keyboard shortcut. In the command line that appears, type "regedit" and press "Enter". A window titled "Registry Editor" will open. In the left part of the window there is a list in the form of a directory tree, click on the line "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" and select the folder "SOFTWARE" in the drop-down list, and find the game folder (name of the developer) in it. Delete it.
Step 2
Press Ctrl + F, enter the name of the game launching file in the search bar and search in the registry. The found parameters should be cleared or deleted. This item should be followed carefully so as not to remove excess.
Step 3
You can use special utilities to clean up the registry, but they work in different ways, and an incorrectly specified parameter when configuring such a utility can lead to sad consequences.
