This is necessary to determine the version of the game installer and for a number of other reasons: from the registry entries, you can find out in which directory the game was installed, as well as in what time period. In the FIFA Manager series of computer games, there is a bug in which the corresponding entry about the installation of the game is not made. Everything would be fine if this invisible entry gave the green light to the launch of the game, and since the game does not find it, you need to create an entry in the registry yourself.

Step 1
The creation of entries in different versions of this game practically does not differ, in one version the keys are created in one registry branch, and in the other, accordingly, the keys have a different location. After starting the system, click the "Start" menu, select "Run", in the window that opens, enter the value regedit.
Step 2
In the program that opens, go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREEA SportsFIFA Manager 08 folder. In this folder you need to find the program installation key - Install dir. The absence of this key indicates that the installer did not work correctly during the installation of the game.
Step 3
To create this key, right-click on an empty space in the Registry Editor, select New, then select String Value. Enter the name of the new key Install dir. Specify the path to the installed game by double-clicking the new key. To save the data, just exit the registry editor.
Step 4
To play FIFA Manager 09, you need to do almost the same. In the registry editor, you need to find the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREEA SportsFIFA Manager 09 folder and create the Install dir key if such a key does not exist. Navigate to the installed game and test the changes by launching the game.
