Step 1
It is assumed that every reader of this material is already a little familiar with this graphics editor and this program is already installed on the hard disk. Therefore, run the program and create a new file by clicking the "File" menu, then selecting the "New" item. In the window that opens, set the desired file size, you can set the width and height equal to 500 pixels.
Step 2
Create a new layer by clicking the "New Layer" button on the appropriate panel, which is located in the far right corner. Select the Oval Marquee Tool and draw a circle. If you get an ellipse, hold down the Shift key and try again.

Click the Edit menu, then choose Fill (Shift + F5) and choose red.
Step 4
Select the Rectangular Marquee Tool and divide the circle into 2 parts, moving the selection from top to bottom. Click the Edit menu, then choose the Free Transform command. Right-click on the selection and select Distort. Now you need to drag out the selection coal, turning the rectangle into a heart. Do the same for the other part of the circle.
Step 5
Go to the layer where the heart is located and double-click the left mouse button on the layer thumbnail. In the "Layer Style" window that opens, go to the "Inner Shadow" tab. Opposite the Multiply mode, you need to choose a color that will be much darker than the color of our heart. Below you need to set the following parameters: "Offset" (19), "Contraction" (33) and "Size" (114).
Step 6
To add volume to the heart, you need to add highlights. Create a new layer by pressing the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + N. Using the Oval Marquee Tool, select a small circle that will be located at the bottom of the heart. Fill the selection with light red. Deselect the selection and click the Filter menu, choose Blur, then Gaussian Blur. In the window that opens, select a scale of 100% and a "Radius" value of 16 pixels. Here the value can be varied, it all depends on the resulting color.
Step 7
To create a highlight in the middle of our heart, create a new layer again and hold down the Ctrl key and click on the layer with the heart. There was a selection of a site of the heart. Click the Selection menu, then select Modify, and then Shrink. Shrink the selection to half the original size. Fill the selection with bright red, this time you can take the color even lighter. Apply Gaussian Blur as in the previous step. Do not forget to change in the settings of the layer with which you are working now, the display type - "Overlay".
Step 8
The final touch will be to create 2 highlights under the bends of the heart, they are performed in the same way as all the other highlights. A beautiful voluminous heart has been created, now it is your turn to think about using it.
