Quite often on social networks, you can see how various characters appear in the nicknames, names and comments of users, which cannot be found on a standard keyboard. But this does not mean that they have a special keyboard or program. It is enough to use standard operating system tools.

Step 1
The text editor is used only as a tool for displaying text in a new document, and the "Symbol Table" allows you to quickly and without hassle add the desired symbol. Almost every operating system in the Windows family has tools with which you can add hidden symbols without using utilities such as the Symbol Table.
Step 2
To understand the principle of adding these symbols, it is enough to return to the first systems on the Windows platform. The variety of symbols that are now on modern keyboards was not yet available then. Therefore, some characters were entered using a keyboard shortcut. The main key is Alt. For example, to set the notorious earth sign "_", you need a combination consisting of the alt="Image" button and the number 95.
Step 3
This way you can experiment with new combinations each time. Remember that numeric expressions range from 1 to 254. To type a heart on the keyboard, hold down the alt="Image" and 3 ♥ keys. The way to add hidden characters depends on your operating system. It may happen that the system provides support for this tool, but the keyboard shortcuts may change.
Step 4
You can do the same with the Symbol Table. To run this utility, you need to open the Start menu, select the All Programs item. In the list of applications, find the "Standard" section and click on the shortcut of the same name. In the window that opens, select the font from which the desired symbol will be copied.
Step 5
Find the heart, select it and copy the code or copy to the clipboard. In a new text document, click the top Edit menu and select Paste. You can also enter the code using the Alt key.
