A program window in Opera, as in any other application, is a separate instance of a browser. After the opportunity to open new pages in tabs appeared, the need to launch additional instances of the application began to arise rarely, and now windows are often referred to as picture-links on a page of the browser's express panel. They are placed in the table, and if the initial number of such window pictures in the virtual world of the global network becomes insufficient, the number of rows and columns can be increased.

Step 1
If you need to bring up another Opera window, right-click on any link on any web page. To go to the address specified in the link using a separate window in the pop-up context menu, there are two items - "Open in a new window" and "Open in a background window". The only difference between them is that selecting the second item will place the new window behind the existing one. Click on the required menu bar and the task will be solved.
Step 2
If you need to add new windows for pictures with attached links to the express panel, use its own settings panel. To open a tab with a quick access panel, click on the plus located behind the tab on the far right of the open page. Alternatively, you can press the shortcut keys Ctrl and T. To invoke the context menu by right-clicking outside the table with picture links, and then select Configure Express Panel. Instead of a line in the context menu, you can click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of this tab.
Step 3
If you are using one of the tenth version of Opera, in the preferences panel you will find a listing of six table splitting options for graphic links. The most modest of them offers four cells, and the largest number is 25 - check the box next to the desired option and click the OK button.
Step 4
In the eleventh version, any reasonable number of places in the table is available to the user without any additional settings - just click the cell with a plus to add each new link, and the browser will automatically increase the number of cells in the table. The only thing that can be configured is the number of columns in the table. To do this, open the drop-down list, which is indicated in the settings panel - "Number of columns", and select the desired option (from 2 to 7).
