Opera is one of the most convenient and functional browsers. Its capabilities are especially pronounced if the network is used for work. Despite the convenience and quite understandable interface, users who have launched this browser for the first time may encounter some difficulties.

Step 1
Difficulties when working in Opera may arise due to incorrect browser settings. First of all, you need to enable the display of the panels you need when working. So, if you do not see the menu items, click the icon in the upper left corner of the browser and check the item "Show menu". Then open the menu "View" - "Toolbars" and mark the following panels: "Tab bar", "Status bar", "Address bar". This is one of the more convenient options, you can use your own settings.
Step 2
You can create bookmarks in Opera in two ways. First: open the "Bookmarks" menu item and select "Create Page Bookmark". The second, the simplest one: right-click on an empty space of the saved page and select "Create page bookmark" in the context menu that opens.

If necessary, you can import bookmarks from Internet Explorer, Firefox and Konqueror browsers. To do this, in the "File" menu, find the "Import and Export" item, then select the required browser.

For the convenience of work, you can bring out in a conspicuous place - for example, on the address panel, the interface elements you need. These can be buttons for offline mode, enable a proxy server, show the desktop ("Minimize all windows"), and others. Setting up the browser in this way makes working in it very comfortable.

Open the Express Panel, right-click on an empty space. Select "Appearance" - "Buttons" - "My Buttons" in the context menu. Now just drag the necessary interface elements onto the address bar (or other panel) and save the changes by clicking OK.
Step 6
The Opera browser has its own cache, which not only saves traffic, but also speeds up the opening of previously visited pages. To adjust the size of the cache, open: "Service" - "General settings" - "Advanced". Set the size of the disk cache in the range of 50-100 MB, the cache type is "Automatic". At the bottom of the docker, under Check if a cached page has been updated on the server, select Never for images and documents.
