Has it ever happened to you that while surfing the web from someone else's computer or phone, you found a page that was very useful for yourself? And I had to rewrite its address, consisting of a couple of hundred incomprehensible characters, in order to bookmark it later in my browser. If it happened, you will appreciate Opera Link. Registration in this service will allow you to create a list of bookmarks, which you can use in any browser from any device.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch the Opera browser on your computer. Click on the cloud-shaped icon - the Opera Link logo - in the lower left corner of the window. In the window that appears, click on the line "My page on Opera Link".
Step 2
Create an account if you don't already have an Opera Community account. To do this, click on the "Register" link. If necessary, change the language settings in the drop-down list in the lower right corner of the window.
Step 3
Come up with a username. Enter a valid email address and set a password. Click on the "Register" button. Check your email. Follow the link provided in the registration confirmation email - your account has been created.
Step 4
Click the Opera Link icon again. Select "Customize". Mark with markers all the items that you would like to sync: bookmarks, passwords, express panel tabs, etc. Click OK.
Step 5
Wait until the sync is complete - all your browser bookmarks will be copied to your Opera Link account. Each new bookmark that you create in Opera in the future will also be automatically added to this list.
Step 6
Transfer bookmarks from the Opera browser on another computer to your account. To do this, start the service by clicking on the icon at the bottom of the program window, or through the main browser menu (menu item "Synchronization"). Set the sync options. To enter your account, enter the username and password that you specified during registration.
Step 7
Connect the Opera Mini browser on your mobile device to the Opera Link service. To do this, launch your browser and enter the setup menu. Select Opera Link from the list and click on the "Enable" button. Enter your username and password. Wait for the sync to finish. Please note that Opera Mini bookmarks in your account will appear in a separate folder.
Step 8
Manage your bookmark list in your account. Use a special function to clear the list of duplicates resulting from synchronization. Edit bookmark names, remove unnecessary links, add new ones manually.
Step 9
Please note that you can use the Opera Link bookmark list even when accessing the Internet through other browsers. To do this, log into your account at the link https://my.opera.com. Click the Login button. Enter login and password.
Step 10
Select Opera Link in the header of the page from the Opera drop-down menu. To go to the page you need from the list of bookmarks, just click on its name with the mouse. If necessary, save the page to the bookmarks of the browser in which you are working in the usual way.
Step 11
Save manually page addresses in Opera Link bookmarks when working in other browsers. To do this, use the appropriate links at the top or bottom of the list. Copy the address of the web page from the address bar and paste it into the provided field. Give the bookmark a name and description. Click the Save button. The bookmark will be added to the list along with everyone else.
