It is difficult to find an Internet user who has not received spam at least once in his life. Because of it, it is sometimes easy to miss an important message that can get lost among many advertisements.

Step 1
You will receive much less spam if you completely opt out of publishing your email address on any public web pages. If this is impossible for any reason, use methods of hiding it from bots that automatically collect addresses from such pages. For example, write it like this: username [s | baka>) server {dot * ka> - domain The more complex you use, the less likely it is to be detected by bots.
Step 2
Try putting your e-mail address in the public domain as a picture, not text. Best of all, make the text hard to recognize by using any generator of images such as "captcha" to convert it into a drawing.

If the forums, message boards, or other sites you are using have an email hiding feature, use it. It is far from always enabled by default. Some resources allow you to send you messages by e-mail through the form on the site, while the address itself is not shown to the interlocutor. Or use the private chat function in the forums for personal communication with other participants.
Step 4
For important correspondence, create a separate mailbox, the address of which is not "shine" anywhere else.
Step 5
Please be aware that some of the messages sent by spammers contain malicious attachments. Currently, the probability of receiving them is small, since many mail servers have antivirus software installed, but it cannot be completely ruled out. Do not open such attachments.
Step 6
And the last thing. Remember to regularly check your spam folder in all your inboxes. An important message may well get there by mistake, so you should often look at it for any presence, especially considering that usually too old messages are automatically deleted from it.
