If you frequently use search engines, in particular Google, the results of all your searches performed on this computer are stored in files called "cookies". Cookies help you to perform quick searches and noticeably increase your page load when you visit the same sites. But "cookies" tend to accumulate and multiply themselves at times. The operation of multiplying its volume occurs every time you access the Internet. Over time, they clutter up disk space and need to be cleaned up.
Necessary
Google search engine
Instructions
Step 1
The Google search engine saves all the queries entered by you in the search line. Depending on your account, saving takes place in different ways, i.e. if you have an account on Google services, there is one place to save the history of requests, and the absence of an account implies a completely different place of saving.
Step 2
In order to perform this operation, you must open your Internet browser. Then open the page of the Google search engine - in the upper right corner, click "Web Search History".
Step 3
If you have a Google account and are in it, then the first line on the page will be the heading "Web search history for [email protected]". If not, then you can enter your account by filling in the spirit of the fields: "login" and "password". Then you can either completely delete the history, or the sections you are interested in: "Internet", "Pictures", "News", etc.
Step 4
If you have not yet created a Google account, search history should be found in cookies. Typically, these files are located at the following location C: Documents and Settings User Local Settings Temporary Internet Files. It's worth noting that the Local Settings folder is a hidden folder. In order to see it, you need to enable the visibility of hidden folders in the folder properties (My Computer - Tools - Folder Options - View). When you copy the line of the address of the folder with "cookies" and paste it into the address bar of the explorer, you will see the same result.
