Computers are combined into a local network in order to provide users with a quick exchange of information between PCs. Another reason for creating this kind of network is to configure simultaneous access to the virtual web from both devices.
Instructions
Step 1
Keep in mind one fact - to create a local network between two PCs with Internet access, you need three network cards. Purchase one cable and the required number of adapters.
Step 2
Connect two network cards to the computer that will be connected to the Internet cable. Set up your web connection. Be sure to make sure it works correctly.
Step 3
Using a network cable, connect the second card to a similar device that is installed in the second computer. Then open the Sharing and Networking Center. Right-click on the icon that symbolizes the second network card, then select the item called "Properties". Check "Internet Protocol TCP / IPv4" and click on the "Properties" button.
Step 4
Fill in the IP address like this: 222.222.222.1. Save the settings for this adapter and navigate to the settings of another computer. To do this, turn on the device, and then proceed to configuring the network card in the same way as described in the previous step. Set the necessary settings for this adapter and save.
Step 5
Now go back to the first PC. Open the Sharing and Networking Center. Right-click on the web connection icon. Open properties. Select "Access". Check the box next to "Allow all computers on the local network to use this Internet connection."
Step 6
Specify in the next field the local network formed by your computers. Turn the internet off and on. Do not forget to check on the second computer for web access.
