Step 1

Connect the router to an electrical outlet. Connect the network equipment to the Internet cable using WAN (Internet) or DSL port. Use a network cable to connect your laptop to your router. To do this, use any available LAN port.

Turn on your mobile computer and network equipment. After loading the operating system, open an Internet browser. Enter 192.168.1.2 in the url field and press Enter. Check in advance the value of the original IP address of this model of Acorp router.

After successfully logging into the web-based interface of the Wi-Fi router settings, open the WAN (Internet) menu. Adjust the parameters of the network equipment based on the recommendations of your provider.

Save your internet connection settings and go to the Wireless Settings menu. Configure the wireless access point. To do this, specify the type of network (802.11 n, g, b), select the security type from the proposed options (WEP, WPA, WPA2), enter the network name and set a password.
