Step 1
Before you can open the archive, you must install a profile archiver program on your computer. Since there are many archiving formats today, WinRAR is the optimal installation program. This program is freely available, and you can find it on the Internet.
Step 2
To download the program, you need to visit the website of the search engine. It is thanks to this service that you can find the most suitable software version. After downloading the archiving program to your computer, make sure that the downloaded file does not contain viruses that can harm the operating system. This can be done using any anti-virus software. If the file is safe for your computer, install it without changing the destination path.
Step 3
After the archiver program is installed on your computer, you do not need to reboot the system. Integration and configuration of the application is carried out automatically immediately after its installation.
Step 4
When the archiver had not yet been installed on the computer, the archive was displayed as an empty icon, and it was impossible to open it. Now that you have installed the application on your PC, the empty icon will change to a specific icon (depending on the file archiving format), and opening the file will become available. In order to enter the archive, you just need to double-click on its shortcut with the left mouse button. The archiver program will display a window on the desktop containing the zipped file.
