Step 1
If you need to open a book in doc, rtf, or txt format, start Microsoft Office Word and select Reading Mode in the upper right corner. This is one of the easiest ways. However, reading from editing programs is not always convenient, so download Tom Reader to your computer and use the File menu to add books to the library. Advanced functionality is already available here, which makes reading from a computer most convenient, a menu of bookmarks, appearance settings and backlighting has appeared.
Step 2
To open books in PDF format, download the Adobe Reader program, it is freely available on the developer's website. After installing it on your computer, right-click on the book and select "open with …" and in the list of programs that opens, select Adobe Reader with the mouse, if it is not there, add it by searching for the exe file using the browse. Check the box to use this program as the default for this type of file.

If you have books in DjVu format, use WinDjView, DjVu Browser plugin, and so on. There are many programs for reading books in this format, they all differ in additional functionality. Special converters and programs for reading such files on mobile devices, for example, PocketDjVu, are also available.
Step 4
To open the book on your mobile device, copy them to its memory. It is best to use the txt format with the standard Windows encoding, which you can change. Opened in Microsoft Office Word. Then, according to the operating system installed in your mobile device, download a book reading program, for example, TequilaCat Book Reader or any other that will be convenient for you to use.
