Pinterest is a popular social network for sharing images. The site allows registered users to create thematic collections, store, sort and exchange various pictures, photographs, videos, as well as accompany them with a brief description. In order to start working with Pinterest, you need to receive an invitation and register with it.
Not so long ago, to register on Pinterest, you needed a special invitation that already registered users sent to friends and acquaintances. Then you could send the coveted invite to yourself. Now, in order to get registration, you need to make much less manipulations. Just go to Pinterest.com, at the top of the page, you will see a yellow bar with English captions. Click on the red Join Pinterest button and choose a way to create an account that is convenient for you. You can do this through your Facebook or Twitter account. Previously, this was the end of the available authorization methods, but recently it became possible to "link" your account to your email address.
If you have a Facebook account and would like to log into Pinterest.com through it, click the button with the logo of this social network on the right. In a new window or tab that opens after you activate the button, you will be prompted to log in (unless you have set up automatic saving of passwords) and give Pinterest access to your account. Click on the blue Add to Facebook button, allowing Pinterest access to your friends list and other public information. If necessary, you can disable this option on your profile page immediately after creating your account. If you choose the left button - Twitter - you will have to follow the same sequence of actions.
After you log in with Facebook or Twitter, you will need to create an account by filling out the form that opens. Try not to use special characters and spaces. If you do everything correctly, the button below the form labeled Create Account will turn red.
Those who want to register via e-mail choose the inscription at the very bottom of the page - sign up with your email address. When you hover over it, the link becomes active and you can follow it. In a window or tab, a form will open in front of you, which will need to be filled in in English letters. You have to enter username (the name by which other participants will know you, at least three characters), e-mail, password (password), first and last name (first and last name). If you wish, you can immediately upload your photo or another picture that will be your "business card". When you fill out the entire form correctly, the button at the bottom of the page labeled Create Account will turn red.
Before you start creating your collections, all you have to do is select those images from the proposed site that catch your eye, in order to allow Pinterest to show you only topics that interest you in the future.
The last step for those who register via e-mail is to receive a letter to the specified mailbox and confirm that the account was created by you. In the letter, you will need to click on the red button that says Verify Email. If you do not receive this notification, you will need to follow the link at the top of your Pinterest page and enter your email address again.
