Online, as in real life, a person also has the right to be alone. Naturally, it is much more difficult to retire in it, but there are still ways for this. And one of these methods is invisibility in the ICQ messenger.
Instructions
Step 1
You can go to inviz in ICQ at once for all users. To do this, open the ICQ client window (it can be QIP, Miranda, or classic ICQ) and find the status button. Click on it, and in the drop-down list select the "Invisible" command. Now your status in ICQ will change to invisible, but some contacts using special clients will still be able to see that you are currently online. To prevent this from happening, use the "Invisible for all" button, which is in the same list. Pressing this button will significantly increase your chances of being unnoticed, even when you are invisible.
Step 2
In addition to the standard status, you can set a private status in ICQ, which will "send" you to invisibility only for some groups of contacts, the composition of which you can choose yourself. To go invisible in this way, click the "Your private status" button, which is located to the right of the standard statuses button. As a private status, you can set the following parameters: "Visible to all", "Visible only to the list of seers", "Visible to all except the list of the blind", "Visible only to the list of contacts", "Invisible to all". Thus, the private status is a tool for more "flexible" management of invisibility.
Step 3
In addition to the above methods, you can also go into invisibility individually for each contact by adding him to the list of the blind. To do this, open the contact list, right-click on the required contact and select the "Add to the list of the blind" command. For a contact who is on the list of invisible people, your status will always be indicated by invisibility.
