Instructions

Step 1

To start the program, click the "Start" menu, select the "All Programs" section and click on the program icon in the QIP Infium folder, or double-click on the shortcut with the left mouse button.

Step 2

To check if sounds are turned on for different events, try sending a message to one of your contacts, writing, for example, the banal phrase “Hello. How are you? . In response, you will receive a message, the receipt of which to your number will be announced or not. If there is no sound at all, you can turn it on by activating the corresponding option in the settings.

Step 3

To go to the program settings, go to the main window - the list of contacts. Press the menu button and select "Settings". In the window that opens, several tabs will be vertically located, go to the "Sounds" tab.

Step 4

If you have not heard sounds, most likely you have a checkmark opposite the item "With volume control", and the slider is in the extremely low position. You just need to raise it up a few divisions to hear the alerts. To check the volume of sound notifications, move the cursor to the list of events, select any and press the Play button.

Step 5

After adjusting the sound scheme, click the Apply button and then the OK button. When you need to completely turn off the sound, do not immediately open the sound settings, just click the button with the speaker icon in the main program window. After the crossed out sign appears on the speaker image, the sound notification should completely disappear. To turn on the sound, you need to do the same.

Step 6

If you want to use a standard sound scheme without the ability to adjust the sound, go back to the sound settings and check the box next to "Simplified (works with all sound cards)".
