Photo resizing is usually required when you want to send a selected image by email. ACDSee has a special image editor tool, ACDSee Photo Editor, included in the ACDSee Photo Manager Pro package, which will help you to solve this problem.
Instructions
Step 1
Press the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Programs" item to perform the operation of resizing the photo.
Step 2
Specify the ACDSee item and run the program.
Step 3
Select the image to be edited and perform the operation to crop the photo. To do this, select the required part of the image and adjust its borders.
Step 4
Open the Modify menu in the upper toolbar of the application window and select the Trim command.
Step 5
Enter the required parameters in the appropriate fields of the dialog box that opens and click the "Finish" button to confirm your choice.
Step 6
Return to the "Resize" menu of the upper toolbar of the ACDSee window and select the "Resize" item.
Step 7
Use the checkbox on the “pixels” field to define the necessary parameters for changing the number of pixels (the recommended size is considered to be 500 pixels in width) or select the “percent” option to set the parameters for changing as a percentage of the original image size.
Step 8
Apply a checkmark in the "Maintain aspect ratio" field and select "Original" from the drop-down list.
Step 9
Click the New File Size button to define new image sizes after applying the selected resizing options and confirm your choice by clicking Finish.
Step 10
Open the "File" menu of the upper toolbar of the program window and go to the "Save As" item to perform the operation of saving the changed image.
Step 11
Do not change the name of the saved file if you need to overwrite an existing image, or enter the desired name in the corresponding field to save a separate copy of the selected photo.
Step 12
Use other options for changing the desired image provided by ACDSee - removing red-eye, processing groups of images, creating a screen saver from your photos or creating an HTML album.
