Modern versions of the iPod support a wide variety of formats. Including they are able to reproduce images of almost all popular graphic extensions, to import which you need to use the functions of iTunes.

Instructions
Step 1
Open an iTunes window using a shortcut on your desktop or the Start menu. Then connect your iPod to your computer using the cable that came with the device. Wait until the player is identified in the program window and the corresponding notification appears.
Step 2
In the upper right part of the program window, click on the button with the name of your iPod device. After that, a menu will appear for managing the device parameters. In the top panel, select the "Photos" section.

A window will appear on a new page to complete the synchronization. In this list, check the box next to "Synchronize photos with". Select the folder where the photos are located.
Step 4
In the list of images that appear in the selected directory, select the files that you want to sync in the player by clicking on the "Selected folders" item. Check the boxes for the photos you want to add to your iPod. You can also highlight subfolders with files or add video files.
Step 5
Click on the "Synchronize" button, and then wait until the end of the procedure. The synced photos will appear in the memory of your device. The addition of images to the iPod is complete.
Step 6
To view the received files, you can go to "Photos" - "Photo Archive", where the files copied through iTunes will be displayed. These images can be used as a screensaver when the screen is locked.
Step 7
You can also delete copied photos from your computer. Open the "Photos" tab on your device in iTunes and uncheck the selected files or folder marked for syncing. Also, image files can be deleted from the player. To do this, open the file you want to delete and click on the trash can icon located at the bottom of the screen.
