There is a button on the Windows taskbar that is very convenient to use when working with several applications at the same time, it is called "Minimize all windows". When a lot of programs are open, and you need quick access to the desktop, just click on it, and all windows will be minimized automatically. This button disappears for various reasons, it is not so difficult to return it to its usual place.

Step 1

If you have completely lost the application shortcut bar along with the desired button, return it to its place by right-clicking on the taskbar. Check the box next to "Show Quick Launch", apply the changes and close the window.

If the problem is not deleting the panel, then return the button using an alternative method. To do this, right-click on the desktop, select New, then Shortcut.

Step 3

In the window that appears, you will see a line in which you will need to enter the address of the location of the program, which it will refer to in the future. Specify the following path: C: /Windows/explorer.exe shell::: {3080F90D-D7AD-11D9-BD98-0000947B0257}. Click "Next".

Enter a name for your shortcut - "Minimize all windows" or any other name that is convenient for you. At this point, the operation can be completed - the button will fulfill its purpose, minimize windows. But if you want to bring it to its familiar state for your eyes, spend another couple of minutes doing the next step.

Right click on the new shortcut. Select the "Properties" menu item. A new window will open with several additional tabs, of which you only need one - "Shortcut". There will be three buttons at the bottom - click on the one in the middle, it is called "Change Icon". You will see a new window, in the search box for the icons of which you need to enter the following address:% SystemRoot% / system32 / imageres.dll. Press the Enter key, and then a menu will open where you can select a new icon, which one you want from all the available ones. Apply the changes you made and click the "OK" button.
