Minecraft is a popular game that allows you to build unique buildings from scrap materials, while protecting them from enemy raids. There are additions in the form of skins, with which you can change the appearance of the characters.
Instructions
Step 1
Create your own Minecraft skin using the special MC Skin Editor utility that can be found on the Internet. You can also find textures for it on the net or make it directly in the MC Skin Editor program. If you want to save time or doubt your capabilities, you can download ready-made skins in.
Step 2
Install the skin in one of the available ways, depending on your version of the game. If you are using a licensed copy, just go to the official Minecraft website and upload the image through the appropriate tab. Users of the modified versions need to install the Java Development Kit application as well as the Minecraft decompiler. First uninstall the current version of the game from your computer and reinstall it.
Step 3
Create a folder on your hard drive called Minecraftskins. Place the decompiler in it and create an internal Jars folder. Go to the directory with the installed game. Copy the Bin folder and paste the copy into Jars. Run Decompile.bat and wait for the decompilation process to complete.
Step 4
Find the java files in the Minecraftskins folder named EntityOtherPlayerMP, EntityPlayerSP and EntityPlayer. Edit them with notepad by changing the default internet address to your own registered for the game. Save your changes.
Step 5
Run the recompile.bat and reobfuscate.bat files sequentially. As soon as the necessary operations are completed, open the Minecraft.jar file located in the Bin folder through the archiver and copy the three files you created from the Minecraft folder located in the Reobf directory into it. Delete the META-INF folder. Now, upon launch, the game will be able to automatically download new skins via the address you provided.
