There are many pitfalls and difficulties in setting up a server for Counter Strike, one of which is the installation of an admin skin. It allows you to make the admin player different from the rest, which introduces variety in the game process.
Necessary
- - Skin package,
- - Installed CS server.
Instructions
Step 1
First, you need to create a skins folder (cstrikecfgmani_admin_plugin) in the folder of the installed server. After that, you need to go to the created directory and create subfolders admin_ct and admin_t and text files with similar names in it. This is necessary in order for the administrator's skins to be different when playing for terrorists, or for counter-terrorists.
Step 2
Next, you need to download a ready-made shell for the admin (for example, ADMIN Skull), after which you need to unpack it. Almost every archive contains installation instructions, which you should definitely study. All archive files are moved to the folder with the installed server, to the cstrike directory.
Step 3
The paths to the skin are written in the text file, and the name of the text file is indicated. For the above Admin Skull mod, for example, in the admin_ct and admin_t directories, create a skull.txt file (the required name is always indicated in the readme file). It contains the paths to the skin itself, unpacked into the appropriate folders (all files are located in the materials and models directories). All paths are listed in the readme, you just need to copy them.
Step 4
Then, in the created admin_t.txt and admin_ct.txt it is necessary to write down the line with the name of the shell and the path to the main text file. It will look like " ADMIN Skull "skull.txt".
