The tools of the Photoshop graphic editor can significantly improve any photographic portrait, make the face of a person in the photo more attractive and brighter. At the same time, the main purpose of photo retouching is to improve the appearance of the skin, to even out its tone.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the Photoshop graphics editor. Click on the File tab on the top menu and click Open. Alternatively, you can press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Щ. Open a photo with a clear, large enough face image. Make a copy of the background layer by clicking on the Background layer and pressing Ctrl + J.
Step 2
Zoom in on the photo and move the red frame in the Navigator to an area with clear skin. Press S on your keyboard. In the toolbar, click on the selected tool and select Clone Stamp (Stamp). Decrease the Hardness and Master Diameter of the brush.
Step 3
Hold down the alt="Image" key and click on the place of the face where the skin is as smooth as possible and has an even color. Release the Alt key. Drag the Clone Stamp tool over the spot you want to adjust. Check if there are any shortcomings.
Step 4
Select the face contour with the Lasso Tool. Make a starting point, outline the face and close the selection to the starting point. Duplicate the selected path twice by pressing Ctrl + J. Hide the second layer for a while by removing the eyelet from the square to the left of the layer.
Step 5
Activate the first layer and press Ctrl + b. A window with curves (Curves) will open. Place an arbitrary point on a straight line and curve it so that the layer becomes light. Place the peephole in the box next to the second layer. This will make it visible.
Step 6
Press Ctrl + B and darken the layer by placing an arbitrary point on the line. Create the third layer. Fill with a flesh tint (closest to human skin with # c18d78). Place this layer between the lightened and darkened layers.
Step 7
Click on the lightened layer. Expand the Layer tab. Select the Layer Mask item and click Hide All. Repeat the same with the darkened layer and the filled layer.
Step 8
Select the lightened face layer. Take a soft, opaque brush by pressing I. In the palette, select white. Paint with a white brush over the areas of the face to be lightened. Set the blending mode to Soft Light on the lightened face layer.
Step 9
Repeat the same manipulations with the fill layer and the darkening layer. On the darkening layer, develop mainly the areas that should remain dark (for example, eyes, eyebrows). Tweak the light, dark, and flesh color combinations to achieve an even skin tone.
Step 10
If using the Clone Stamp tool does not suit you, then copy the background image by pressing Ctrl + J. Open the Filter tab from the top menu, then select the Blur group and click on the Gaussian Blur label. Move the opened window slightly to the side. Move the radius slider to blur the face. Click OK when the blur is complete.
Step 11
Switch to a copy of the background layer, grab the Eraser from the toolbar with a slight hardness. Erase any excess blur that goes beyond the contour of the face, as well as blur in the eyes, in the mouth, and other significant parts of the face. Set the opacity of the layer to around 30-40%. The skin tone will be evened out. Merge the layers into one by pressing Ctrl + Shift + E.
