Prince of Persia (Prince of Persia) - a series of more than 5 games, which has gained serious popularity around the world. This is largely due to the well-thought-out combat system.
Instructions
Step 1
In the old Prince of Persia series (done in 2D), you don't have to kill enemies at all. If you come close enough to them, you just run your way around - the characters will swap places, as if bypassing each other (you can run to jump "through them", the effect will be the same). Given the complexity of local battles and the time limit until the end of the game, this method turns out to be the most profitable. However, if battles give you aesthetic pleasure, then the tactic "the best defense is an attack" will be the most successful. Keep your distance, but always get into the fight first - enemies (especially at the first levels) block poorly.
Step 2
In the modern trilogy (related to the sands), the combat system is entirely based on console rules, and is based on a combo system. If you've played any console slasher (God of War, Devil May Cry), mastering it shouldn't be too problematic. So you have the keys for block, hit and bounce (sometimes use jump and lock on the target). Exiting the menu by pressing the "esc" key, you will see the so-called "combo list" (in different localizations it can be called differently). There are recorded all the techniques that the prince owns. To perform a reception, you need to press the control keys in the indicated order (pay attention to possible marks and conditions). The most classic combination [hit-hit-hit] just requires frequent mouse clicks (or keys on the gamepad), but at a high level of difficulty, this approach will not save you.
Step 3
It is worth highlighting the third part of the series, "Two Thrones", in which it became possible to pass the location "quietly" using quick-time events. That is, playing in the image of a bright prince, you can quietly kill all enemies without spending a single life. To do this, you will have to watch a kind of "interactive video" and press the "hit" button in time. An excellent help here is the ability to rewind time, because often you do not have time to press a key in time.
Step 4
In the new part of the game, simply called Prince of Persia, the authors completely changed the concept, left the slasher and reduced the number of enemies tenfold. Now each battle is a kind of duel with a monster, which can drag on for several minutes. The secret of success is again in the performance of combos, but now you need to more often use the help of the girl accompanying you - the combinations with her participation are the most powerful and simply spectacular.
