The "Fix PC problems" checkbox is part of the general notification service implemented in the Windows 7 operating system, which caused the most violent attacks on users. You can get rid of system notifications in several standard ways.
Instructions
Step 1
Call the context menu of the system notification service by clicking on the arrow next to the notification service checkbox to perform the operation to cancel the display of system notifications.
Step 2
Select the "Open Action Center" command and open the "Change User Account Control Settings" link in the opened Action Center dialog box.
Step 3
Select the Never Notify option in the new User Account Control Settings dialog box and click OK to confirm the selected changes are applied.
Step 4
Call the context menu of the Windows 7 operating system notification service by clicking on the arrow next to the notification service checkbox to perform the operation to disable the PC Troubleshooting service.
Step 5
Select the "Open Support Center" item and expand the "Configure Support Center" node in the opened Support Center dialog box.
Step 6
Uncheck the "Fix PC problems" box and click OK to confirm the command.
Step 7
Press the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Run" item to initiate a complete shutdown of the troubleshooter service.
Step 8
Enter the value regedit in the "Open" field and click the OL button to confirm the execution of the command to run the "Registry Editor" tool.
Step 9
Open the registry branch HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsWindows Error Reporting and open the disable parameter by double-clicking it. (Call the context menu of the object by right-clicking on an empty space and select the New command if the required parameter is missing. Specify the DWORD parameter item and rename the newly created parameter to disable.)
Step 10
Change the value of the selected parameter from 0 to 1 and exit the Registry Editor tool.
