Step 1
After installing Windows, Remote Desktop is disabled by default. You need to set up "Remote Desktop" before using it by connecting from another computer. Therefore, you need to go under the Administrator profile, right-click on the "My Computer" shortcut and select the "Properties" tab from the listed. After that, in the "Properties" of the system, select the "Remote use" tab. Then check the box next to "Allow remote access to this computer."
Step 2
To use your computer as a base for Remote Desktop Connection, you must configure your computer as a Remote Desktop client. To do this, you need to install the Terminal Services Client.
Step 3
When the required software is installed on the computer, you can connect to the remote computer. Select "Start" -> "Programs" -> "Accessories" -> "Communications" -> "Remote Desktop Connection". Enter the name or IP address of the computer you want to communicate with. Then click "Connect". Don't forget to enter your username, password (domain if necessary). Confirm your data entry.
