A system that is often purchased and installed on a computer has a different language, and it becomes necessary to update it to a new one. This is not difficult at all, you just need to download and install the appropriate language pack.
Instructions
Step 1
Download an application called "Windows Vista Multi-Language Package Installation Tools", version 2.55 or later. It will be used to apply the new language for Windows Vista.
Step 2
Download the required language pack for the language from the Microsoft website. If you have a 32-bit system and Service Pack 1 is installed on it, go to the appropriate page and download the package that is appropriate for it.
Step 3
Create a folder on any of the hard disk partitions. It is best not to use long folder names and paths to avoid further problems installing the language pack. Shorten the folder name to 8 characters without spaces. Unpack the archive with the application into it and copy the language pack. There should now be a subfolder called VistaMuiTools and *. EXE files for the language pack you will be installing.
Step 4
Open the VistaMuiTools folder and select “Windows Vista MUI v2.55 x86.exe” if you have a 32-bit version of Windows Vista, or “Windows Vista MUI v2.55 X64.exe” for a 64-bit version. The file must be run with administrative permission, so make sure you right-click and select Run as Administrator.
Step 5
Familiarize yourself with the opened window "Multi-Language Package Installation" and select the installation in the uppermost, first way. You will be prompted to select the language pack launcher file. Navigate to the folder you just created and select the required *. EXE file. Next, you will be prompted to specify the name of the output file, which will be processed by the program and used to apply the new language settings to the file. Choose a name for your folder and leave the default filename. Wait for the tool to finish changing the system language settings.
