In the properties of any object, be it a file or a folder, there are several attributes: "Archive", "Read-only" and "Hidden". When the "Hidden" attribute is enabled, the object icon may become translucent or disappear altogether, depending on the computer settings. But you can bring him back into view.

Step 1
In the top toolbar, find the "Service" group, then "Folder Options". In the menu, open the "View" tab. In the list of settings, find the "Hidden folders and files" column, put a tick in the "Show hidden folders and files" line. Save and close the menu.
Step 2
If you do not find the "Service" command in the top panel, enter the "Control Panel" and find the "Folder Options" directory. Then follow the same scenario.
Step 3
If you do not need the object to have the "Hidden" attribute, select it with a mouse click, right-click and open the "Properties" menu. In the "General" tab, find the list of attributes and uncheck the box next to the "Hidden" line.
