When working in the network, you can often face the need to send a file or a group of large files. In this case, you can use a simple sequence of actions.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, make sure that sending the files you want cannot be sent via email, as their size exceeds the maximum possible size of the sending. You can take this step by writing to the technical support of your mail server or by trying to attach the files you need. Once you are convinced that direct sending via e-mail is not suitable for you, proceed to the next step.
Step 2
Archive the files to be sent. To do this, select them all with the left mouse button or with the shift and ctrl keys. After completing the selection, right-click on them and select "Add to archive" from the drop-down menu. In the archiver settings, select the "Advanced" tab, then set a password. This will restrict third parties' access to the data contained in the archive. Wait until the end of the archive creation, depending on the amount of data and the speed of your computer, this may take a long time.
Step 3
Upload the archive obtained in the previous step to a file hosting service. Let's consider this step on the example of the site ifolder.ru. On the main page on the right, you will see a section of the page where you can upload a file. Click on the appropriate button and deploy the archive you created earlier. Click on OK, and then wait for the download to finish. This may take a long time depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the archive. When the download is complete, you will be redirected to a page with a password creation field. Enter it by maximizing the data loaded on the server. After that, you will be taken to a page with a link to download the file you downloaded. Copy it.
Step 4
Create a new letter in your inbox. Insert the link and password to download your archive in the text of the letter, as well as the password to access the archive. After that, enter the recipient's mailbox and click on the "send" button.
