Devices in the Microsoft Windows operating system are all internal, integrated and external, plug-in and peripheral devices. These devices include DVD-ROMs, hard drives, processor, graphics card, RAM, monitor, modem, battery, AC adapter, mouse, keyboard, and more.
Instructions
Step 1
Due to conflicts of some redundant devices, for example, integrated and external sound cards, one device must be removed from the operating system.
Such a device can be temporarily disabled or removed from Windows. To do this, go to the Start menu or the My Computer folder and select Control Panel. Select the view mode - small icons or large icons.
Step 2
In this window, find the shortcut "Device Manager". Double click on the icon, the device manager window will appear on the screen. Now find the device you want to disconnect or remove from the system. Right-click on the device name and select the "Disable" or "Delete" function in the context menu.
Step 3
You can also uninstall the driver of an unnecessary device. To do this, double-click the left mouse button on the device name. In the device properties menu that appears, select the "Driver" tab and click the "Uninstall" button.
