Microsoft Word is the most widely used document creation and editing tool. The advantages of such text editors in comparison with simpler editors (for example, Notepad) are the availability of advanced text formatting capabilities, including the creation of new pages.

Microsoft Word text editor
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure your text editor is in the document display mode that allows you to see the markup. For example, if the "Web Document" mode is enabled, then you will not be able to see if the second (third, etc.) page of the document has been created, since it does not show individual pages, but only the entire document without any markup. If you need to see the pages, you can use the "Page Layout" mode - it is turned on by clicking on the corresponding icon in the lower right corner of the window, next to the zoom slider.
Step 2
Take advantage of the automatic next page addition - Word can do it on its own. When the current page is full of content, the editor will automatically insert a non-printable page break character. You can adjust the page capacity by changing the margins from the edges of the sheet and thereby speeding up or slowing down the creation of the next page in the process of filling the document with text.
Step 3
Insert blank lines by pressing the Enter key until the current page, which is not completely filled in, reaches the limit of lines, and the editor creates a new page. This is a very simple, but too wasteful and "obsolete" method of creating pages - a lot of keystrokes for this simple operation.
Step 4
Insert a non-printable page break to immediately create a new page, regardless of whether the previous page is full. To do this, go to the "Insert" tab of the text editor menu and in the very first group of commands ("Pages") click the "Page Break" button. The same operation can be done by pressing the keyboard shortcut CTRL and Enter.
Step 5
Click the "Blank Page" button if you want to not just start a new page, but insert a blank page anywhere in the document. This button has been placed in the same Pages command group on the Insert tab of the Word menu.
