Step 1
Open file with mdf extension, i.e. you can mount it on a virtual device using the Alcohol 120% program. After installing this program, you need to create a virtual drive (exists only in the operating system). To do this, you need to run the program and set the number of drives (disks).
Step 2
On the left side of the program settings window, find the "Virtual disk" section, on the right side, settings will appear, among which you should replace the drop-down list from "0" to "1". Most often, only one virtual disk is used.

Next, you need to use the program to find the disk images on the hard drive. In the main window of the program, click the "Search for images" link. In the window that opens, select the search location, this can be done in the drop-down list by specifying the directory, disk partition or "My Computer" Click the Search button.
Step 4
After performing the search operation, you will see one or more files in the right part of the program window, select them by pressing the Ctrl + A key combination. Right-click on the files and select the "Add selected files" context menu line.
Step 5
To mount the image, double-click on the name of the game disk in the main window. Now you can start installing the game; the procedure itself is no different from a similar operation from a CD / DVD.
Step 6
After starting the installer, strictly follow the prompts of the installation wizard. In almost all windows it will be necessary to press the Next or Next buttons. To change the folder where the game files are located in the corresponding window, click the "Browse" button, specify a different path and press the Enter key.
Step 7
In the last window, the installation wizard recommends that you check the box next to "Run after installation is complete". Activate this option if you want to start the game immediately.
