Would you like to make your personal computer as unique as you are? If so, the first step is to change the melody of its launch. The fact is that all users of the same version of the operating system have the same default.
Instructions
Step 1
Click once on the "Start" button. In the menu that appears, find "Control Panel" and also click on it once. A window will appear in front of you. In it select "Sound, speech and audio devices". Double click on this icon. Review the list of assignments. Select Change Sound Scheme.
Step 2
Go to the "Sounds" tab in the window that appears to change the start melody. Scroll through the list. Find "Program Events" in it. In it, in turn, find "Windows Login". Click on this item once with the left mouse button.
Step 3
Here find the item "Sounds". You will see the name of the sound file, which is set to start the system by default. It is in the list of other files that you can also put on launch. You don't have to restart your computer every time to listen to them. Click on the "Play file" button next to them. If you don't like any of them, you can set your own startup melody. To do this, click the "Browse" button and go to the directory where the file that you would like to install to start the operating system of your personal computer is located.
Step 4
Note that if the song is long enough, it will not play in its entirety. That is, so that it is not a surprise for you that only the introduction will play out of it. You can use any sound editor convenient for you to cut out the most beloved fragment of it and set the launch melody.
Step 5
Look online for options if you don't have any specific thoughts on this. Surely someone has already paid a lot of attention to this issue and posted a large number of melodies suitable for starting the system. Download them and place them in a folder convenient for launching them. Then do the same as described above. Listen to each of them in the launcher setup menu and choose the one that suits you best. Then click the "Apply" button.
