Sometimes, when installing online programs (for example, network games), the antivirus reacts to them as a malicious manifestation. This also happens with multiple traces of an application that needs to be removed. When solving such problems, many people use disabling the self-defense of the antivirus. Let's consider disabling self-defense using the example of Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
Instructions
Step 1
Disabling this element of the program is the same in almost all versions of Kaspersky.
Users of Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 should open the application window and click the "Settings" button. In the "Parameters" section, uncheck the "Enable self-defense" item and save the settings.
Step 2
In the version of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011, the sequence of actions will be as follows: click the "Settings" button in the main application window, in the window that opens, go to the "Advanced settings" tab and select the "Self-defense" item. A number of checkmarks will appear, among which it is necessary to uncheck the box "Enable self-defense".
Step 3
If you use Kaspersky PURE, then select the "Settings" item in the main menu of the application, in the "Self-defense" section check or uncheck the "Enable / disable self-defense" item and save the settings.
Step 4
In versions "6" and "7" and other earlier versions, in the settings window, select the "Service" tab and uncheck the "Enable self-defense" checkbox.
