Certain computer games can be successfully run even on computers that do not meet the stated requirements. Often, you can face the opposite situation: powerful computers can hardly handle relatively weak games.
Necessary
- - CCleaner;
- - Game Fire.
Instructions
Step 1
Start by setting up your hard drive. After starting the operating system, open the "My Computer" menu. Open the properties of the hard drive partition on which Windows is installed. To do this, click on the icon of the required disk and select the appropriate item.
Step 2
At the bottom of the General submenu, look for Allow indexing of file contents. Disable this option by unchecking the specified box. Click the Apply button. In the window that appears, select "For attached files and subdirectories."
Step 3
Follow the described procedure for the local drive where you are installing games. This will increase the speed of information processing.
Step 4
Delete unnecessary files from your hard drive and fix the registry keys. It is not recommended to perform this procedure on your own, because it can lead to a malfunction of the OS. Install CCleaner by downloading it from the official website.
Step 5
Start the specified application. Select the "Registry" submenu. Click the Troubleshoot button. After providing a list of invalid keys, click Fix. Cancel the backup.
Step 6
Go to the "Cleanup" submenu and repeat the analysis procedure and delete unnecessary files. Close the program.
Step 7
Download the Game Fire app. This is a free program that allows you to quickly reconfigure some parameters of the operating system. Install and launch Game Fire.
Step 8
Open the System Status tab and click the Turn on Gaming mode button. Wait while the program performs the required operations. When enabling the application, use the "Run as administrator" option.
Step 9
If you are using a mobile computer, there are a few important things to consider. Disconnect the battery. Most power management programs slow down the processor and graphics card.
Step 10
Open the settings for the active power plan. Make sure Power Save Mode is turned off for all devices. Set maximum CPU performance.
